Dipl.-Soz. Doreen Zillmann

Doreen Zillmann studied sociology with psychology and law as minors at the University of Dresden and completed her degree in sociology in August 2006. After she finished her studies she worked as a research scientist at the Research Association Public Health, Faculty of Medicine Carl Gustav Carus at Technische Universität Dresden. Since September 2007 she is engaged in the DFG project "Processes of Mate Choice in Online Dating" at the Chair of Sociology I, University of Bamberg. Her research interest focuses on sociology of the family, especially mate choice research, on deception and signals of trustworthiness in social interactions, and on quantitative and qualitative methods in empirical social research.
