Dipl.-Soz. Markus Zielonka

Markus Zielonka , born in Freiberg, Germany (1976), studied sociology, psychology and geography at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg, political sociology at the University of Dalarna (Sweden) and sociology at the Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg where he took his diploma degree in March 2007. From September 2005 to March 2007 he was working as a student research assistant in the DFG project 'Flexibility Forms at Labor Market Entry and in the Early Career' (flexCAREER) at the University of Bamberg . In this context he conducted a country study on the United States of America together with Ilona Relikowski . From April 2007 to Frebruary 2008 he was working as a research scientist at the State Institute for Family Research at the University of Bamberg in a project on educational decisions (BiKS). Since March 2008 he is working at the Department of Sociology I, Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg in the same project. He is interested in education, life courses and labor markets as well as quantitative and qualitative research methods.
