Susanne Schührer, M.Sc.

Susanne Schührer works as a research assistant at the eduLIFE ("Education as a Lifelong Process – Comparing Educational Trajectories in Modern Societies") project at the Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg. Ms Schührer studied Sociology at the University of Mannheim as an undergraduate with emphasis on methods of empirical research, social psychology and sociology of the labor market. Her bachelor thesis investigated the influence standardization and stratification of school systems on the labor market entry. From 2008 to 2011 she finished her master’s degree in Sociology and Social Empirical Research at the University of Cologne. In her master thesis she studied the effect of different forms of partnerships on life satisfaction with 16 waves of the GSOEP.  Her research interests are methods of empirical research, sociology of the labor market as well as positive psychology.
