Dipl.-Soz. Susann Sachse-Thürer

Susann Sachse-Thürer, was born in Plauen, Germany, in 1982. She studied sociology at the Otto-Friedrich-University of Bamberg from 2003 to 2008. During her course of studies she focused the empirical social research. In this sector she wrote her diploma thesis with the title “Online-Research – Comparison of two different Types of Scaling”. Besides she acted as research associate at the Chair of Business English and Philosophy I and was voluntary acting in the “Fachschaft Sozial- und Wirtschaftswissenschaften” After graduating she worked for Forschungsinstitut Betriebliche Bildung (f-bb) gGmbH Nuremberg. There she took part in two different projects which examined the further education and inhouse training of small and medium-sized enterprises. Since March 2009 she is research scientist at the department of sociology I, Otto-Friedrich-University of Bamberg. Her interests lie in sociology of the internet and online-research.
