Dipl.-Soz. Andrea Dürnberger

Andrea Dürnberger, born in Treuchtlingen, Germany (1979), studied sociology at the Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg, where she received her diploma in March 2006. In her studies she concentrated on Methods of Empirical Research and Statistics, particularly on Event History Methods and multivariate methods for cross-sectional data.
Since June 2006 she has been working as research assistant at the State Institute of Familiy Research, where she is currently focussing on nontraditonal family forms, especially gay/lesbian partnerships and parenthood. Besides she is engaged in the evaluation of the HIPPY-program - a program for the integration of preschool children with a foreign background.
