Dipl.-Soz. Johanna Dämmrich
Johanna Dämmrich studied Sociology at the Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg with the main emphasis on empirical social research and received her diploma degree in September 2010. In her diploma thesis she studied different government’s policies and welfare state attitudes among the four countries Germany, Great Britain, Italy and Sweden. Since October 2010, she is program coordinator of the Research Network “Transnationalisation and Changing Life Course Inequality in Europe” (TransEurope). Starting in June 2011, she is also engaged as a research scientist and Ph.D. student in the project eduLIFE "Education as a Lifelong Process – Comparing Educational Trajectories in Modern Societies".
Her interests lie in international comparison of employment and welfare regimes as well as educational systems, life courses and labor market research.
