Dipl.-Soz. Nicole Birnbaum

Nicole Birnbaum was born in Dresden, Germany (1983). She studied sociology at the University of Leipzig (Germany) and at the Erasmus University Rotterdam (Netherlands) from 2002 to 2008. Since April 2008, she works as a research scientist in the project "educational processes, competence development and selection decisions in pre- and primary school age" (BiKS) at the Department of Sociology I, Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg. She is interested in education and life courses as well as quantitative and qualitative research methods.
